I don't know if it helps or not, but I thought I should take a moment to say I read every one of your newsletters--and that's not something I can say for many of the subscriptions that flow into my inbox.
I read every newsletter too* ...and your books, and your stories. You DO have an audience, and you are one of the lights in the darkness for me.
(* except the recent essay about losing your dog. I adore the way you write about dogs, please don't stop!!!, but a mutual friend warned me away from that one, as I'm still in not over the loss of a beloved canine myself.]
This means so much to me, Terri. Thank you for telling me. And I'm so sorry about the loss of your dog. I always loved your pictures of her. It's so hard when they go.
I have to thank you for this beautiful post because it was exactly what I needed to read. Looking forward to reading your work! I have a feeling I am going to enjoy it. I promise to let you know.
I loved this piece and all its nuance. I’m so looking forward to our coffee-adjacent date next month! I was going to try to get out to Brooklyn tonight, but I have two weeks of travel ahead and just got back from Boston so it may not happen, ALAS. I will keep an eye and ear out for reports. I shall be thinking of you!
Thank you! If you can't make it, I totally understand. In addition to everything else, it's COLD out there. But I'm looking forward to our hot drinks and pastries!
